You've definitely missed a lot of history here.
Will need to catch up! I remember the years when the clock crew was a new thing, the unlimited shitposting they did uploading was hilarious. Lots of old series I checked out again recently that are still funny to me and sort of shaped my type of humour. Probably a little too young to get some of it at the time though! Haha!
@Keaks They killed General and more or less paywalled it Supporters only. Then Politics was purged on the same day... Read General's last days as it is pretty clear what really happened.
Ah yeah I heard about this when it happened. I think it was just a powder keg of anger in the USA at the time with peoples opinions. They probably didn't want to be /pol/ 2.0.
